Over the course of the last month, Verdisian Ioannis Papadopoulos has reported on his trips from his hometown in Greece to the nearby Republic of North Macedonia on the community forum.
He lives in Thessaloniki, less than one and a half hours ago from the border with North Macedonia. The immigration/customs checkpoint appears to be used to having people present national ID cards, since Greek citizens are allowed entry visa-free with their ID. When crossing the border, he was able to enter the country by presenting both his Verdisian and Greek IDs with no issues whatsoever. He made two such trips over the last three weeks. While this does not directly imply recognition of Verdisian identification documents by North Macedonian authorities, it is a good sign that no problems have come up in using Verdis-issued proof of identity in this instance.
Update (10th July 2023):
In another post, Ioannis Papadopoulos has confirmed another successful border crossing on 6th July 2023. He crossed the border by car into the border town of Gevgelija, once again without problems or questions.
